Tannis has been assisting small towns and First Nations with various economic development services for over two decades.  She has developed award-winning sustainable small business growth programs, launched downtown revitalization efforts, and successfully procured millions of dollars in Federal and Provincial grants by understanding funding programs and goals.    

In addition to public sector work, she has assisted numerous private sector clients ranging from wineries to gold mines in their development strategies.   Tannis's expertise areas include Strategic Planning, Research, Marketing, Financial Incentive Program Development, Program Development, and Public Consultations. 

She has extensive experience managing projects and developing financially sustainable development plans.

Harold enjoys opportunities to turn economic potential into reality. 

He has fostered effective working relationships, whether adjacent geographical areas such as Montana and SW Saskatchewan or involving commercial realtors in promotional efforts; there are always economic benefits from growing your 'circle.'

Harold has focused on building up various complex organizations or their revitalization, working with their Boards of Directors to utilize their talents, experience, and expertise to deliver success. Harold believes  that  effective advocacy for significant economic development and business undertakings, and the many small, individual steps is required to bring success.  

Understanding key drivers, identifying and working with the appropriate interests, then bringing together the business, community, academic and government leaders is essential  in implementing successful business development strategies with measurable results.

Stephen has spent his career at the intersection of government and business. He has over 15 years of experience within the federal and provincial public sector, across multiple departments and disciplines.

Most recently, Stephen served as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategic Policy for Economic Development in Manitoba. 

He has worked with business to secure financing, build transportation infrastructure, develop sustainable industry, and lead research projects on economic productivity.

Stephen has worked extensively with stakeholders including Prairies Economic Development Canada, Invest in Canada, Manitoba Hydro and others to establish a robust business environment in Manitoba to

attract investment.

In addition, Stephen has volunteered his time extensively within his community on various Boards.

Stephen complements his experience with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Finance (University of Manitoba), a Master’s degree in Financial Economics (University of London), and a second Master’s degree in Law (University of Edinburgh).

Jeff has been reimagining beautiful and functional community spaces through his career as a Landscape Architecture.  

He has been responsible for numerous commissions ranging from traditional site planning and development projects to forward-thinking institutional design, urban renewal, and regional planning studies.  

Jeff's work includes the Kenora, ON. waterfront, the Sioux Lookout and Hudson Downtown Revitalization Study, and the University of Winnipeg Campus and Community Development.    

Jeff specializes in regional landscape analysis, community development plans, and site planning and design.

Jeff has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture.

Jordan has spent the last 20 years developing new business relationships. Whether it was in sales or business development. Jordan has always excelled at finding new connections that help his clients meet their growth goals. 

.Jordan has created successful entrepreneurial matches in the fields of healthcare,  forestry, tech and energy.

In his role with Skyline building systems he was the most profitable Account Manager, with the greatest increase in new revenue, and signed new multi-national accounts. 

Jordan is the owner and priciapl consultant fo   Tactical Business Solutions an international prospecting firm.  

Derik is an expert in leading transformational change. Derik comes from a family of entrepreneurs, so it isn't surprising he started his career with his own business. He was hired to help turn around the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, which was on the brink of closure. Later he was hired by the City of Thunder Bay to merge an outside, non-union organization with an internal, unionized division of the City and reorganize the City's approach to tourism and economic development.  

As the Chief Administrative Officer for South Glengarry, he led the organization's professional transformation and made it more efficient, resulting in a more competitive tax rate. As CAO in Grimsby, Derik focused on the capacity building the organization required as a result of rapid growth. Derik has been involved in municipal government since 1997 and has experience in all forms of municipal government: large urban, small urban, rural, upper-tier, lower-tier, and single-tier.  

Derik was twice elected to City Council in Sault Ste. Marie.

Jeff completed his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at Cornell University. He moved to Canada in 1981 to pursue graduate studies, and earned a Masters degree in planning and economic development from the University of Guelph School of Rural Planning & Development. 

Jeff has worked in Northwestern Ontario for the past 35 years and has extensive experience working in the public sector, private sector and indigenous communities. His experience ranges from community planning and economic development to tourism, strategic planning, urban design, infrastructure development and local government services. 

In addition to professional economic development consulting services, Jeff provides land use planning consulting services to the Township of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls, Town of Fort Frances, Township of Emo, Township of Chapple and Township of Oliver-Paipoonge. 

Jeff is an accredited member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, and Ontario Provincial Planners Institute.
